How many times have we heard Christians discuss the Bible and one reply (maybe even, it was you or me) "Well, that's just your interpretation"? Many interpretations imply many different meanings. The dictionary defines "interpretation" as explaining the meaning of something in understandable terms". Whether we can agree (your interpretation or mine - Heaven help us if we continue to think like this) or not, each Scripture has ONE valid understandable message (not interpretation). GOD does not "stutter" nor is HE the author of confusion; HE said what HE said and meant what HE said, whether we finite creatures can agree on what HE said or not! Do we limit ourselves, or allow others to "prison" us with their "interpretations"? May I suggest to you, that Scripture does not have "interpretations" but ONE well spoken TRUTH that has many APPLICATIONS? How can we really live GOD'S WORD based on "interpretations" instead of INSPIRATIONS? Interpretations change; therefore our actions regarding GOD'S WORD would change and become inconsistent. Inspiration of the Scriptures allows us to think GOD'S thoughts with HIM. We are actually being "recreated" because we put ourselves with GOD and share (or recreate) HIS experience; to think as HE thought, feel as HE felt, and act as HE acted. Acts 20:30, "...from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things to draw away the disciples after them." If we believe we can not read the Bible with the HOLY SPIRIT (This is important - ask the HOLY SPIRIT TO READ WITH YOU, PRAY WITH YOU, AND INSPIRE YOU WITH GOD'S TRUTH OF SCRIPTURE) then how do we have that personal relationship with GOD? How do we know who to believe? Believe GOD, HE did not "stutter" and make you depended on anyone but HIM! IT'S INSPIRATION NOT INTERPRETATION!
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD!
