A "TIME OF HOLY REST", a time of encouraging and being encouraged, a time when we draw near to GOD in ONE SPIRIT. We actually Prepare ourselves for this "Treasured Event" by eagerly reJOYcing in it, "BEFORE IT STARTS". Our hearts instantaneously sing songs of Praise never before heard; we even forget where we put our "cell phones". Hebrews 10:25, "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves..." It is the ULTIMATE FAMILY REUNION, where we are brought into the Direct and Spiritual Relationship with GOD and with one another? The only part of the Bible not written by man through GOD'S Inspiration; THE TEN COMMANDMENTS; Exodus 20:8, "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it HOLY". This was written by the HAND OF GOD, HIMSELF; CHURCH IS THE ULTIMATE FAMILY REUNION.

"If we don't see GOD in the next person we meet, it is a waste of time to look any further". Do we Worship a GOD WHO died 2000 years ago; OR THE LIVING GOD OF TODAY? Luke 20:38, "For HE is not a GOD of the dead, but of the LIVING". Do we think our father's fathers, and our mother's mothers, are dead; instead of living with OUR LIVING GOD? Have we asked HIM for the Revelation of HIMSELF THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, WHO WAS, WHO IS, AND WHO WILL ALWAYS BE? HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING.
When we are doing something that is really important to us it receives our full attention and energy; nothing can distract us as we pour ourselves into it. It becomes an extenuation of us, it is a part of us that reflects who we are and even reveals the Treasure of who we are. Genesis 1:20, "GOD created man in HIS own image..." Creation is not just the "act of Creating" it is the "bonding" of ONESELF to the Creation. The Creation and Promises made by GOD, are YES in JESUS CHRIST. And through HIM the "Amen" is spoken by us to GLORIFY GOD (2 Corinthians 1:20). And so, who we are and WHO GOD IS; WE CAN ONLY SAY, "YES AND AMEN". GOD answers Prayers; EVEN THE ONES WE DON'T PRAY. Many times our Prayers are answered before we ask. Do we believe that people we may have known were GOD'S ANGELS teaching us HIS LOVE and changing our heart's? They, (through) HIS guidance, protected us when we couldn't protect ourselves; Loved us when we didn't know how to Love; and Believed in us when we didn't Believe in ourselves. Yes, GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS THAT ARE TO DEEP FOR US TO PRAY (Daniel 9:20). HE SENDS HIS ANGELS.
Do we ever "Discover" TRUTH? Do we depend upon life's experience to confirm "TRUTH" to us? Have we come to believe that we have to "prove" something for it to be TRUE? And, is our "PROOF" the result which occurs after our minds distort and alter, or our logic shifts and realigns. Is TRUTH known from the mind or from the Heart? Is TRUTH the same as LOVE, which the mind cannot define either? Is TRUTH and LOVE only known by our SPIRIT? Can we know something and yet, not understand it? Have you ever known something to be TRUE even though the "evidence" says it is not? John 8:32, "and you will know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH will set you free". Could it be that what "holds" everything together is LOVE AND TRUTH; and we cannot know either without knowing GOD? Is TRUTH discovered or could it be; TRUTH JUST IS?
Do we include others into our lives when it only helps us, or at least, when it doesn't hurt us? Do we measure RIGHT by those who agree with us and WRONG by those who disagree? Do we give ourselves "worth" and "courage" in the absence of opposition; but "cry out" for Mercy when "Adversity" destroys the lie we are living? Philippians 2:1-4, "...Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others". RIGHT IS RIGHT even if it doesn't give us what we want, and WRONG IS WRONG even if it gives us everything we want. WRONG, SICKENS AND DESTROYS THE SPIRIT UNTIL WE BECOME THE LIE WE ARE LIVING.
Two things happen when someone asks you to Pray for someone. First, THE SPIRIT speaks to them as to whom to include in their family of Prayer. Second, THE SPIRIT calls you to Prayer INSTANTANEOUSLY. There is no preparation of the mind, only RESPONSE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. "Think not what you will say THE SPIRIT will speak for you". You don't assume a Prayer Position, the manifestation of the Power of GOD drives you face down as HE brings you into Communion with HIM. This "Oneness" with GOD, brings Thanksgiving and Praise as we begin tho see THE MIRACLES TO COME as HE shows HIS deliverance's of the past. 1 Corinthians 10:11, "Do, O LORD, as YOU have done of old; forsake not YOUR OWN WORKS". Our Prayer is not one of MERIT (for we have none), but one of MERCY. IN THIS "RAPTURABLE MOMENT" we are a "Family of ONE SPIRIT", the ONE BEING PRAYER FOR, AND THE ONES PRAYING ARE HEALED! YES, PRAYER BECOMES A RAPTURABLE MOMENT.
Wow, because of someone else my whole day started off wrong! Do we blame others because we have no Peace? Do we dwell upon their words and actions until we "quell" the SPIRIT within us? Do we frantically search the Scriptures to know how to react to a specific situation or person? Or, are all the tragedies in the Bible and anything else we face, solved with one answer? "In ME you may have Peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but take Heart, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). In GOD'S Peace, "we can do all things" (Philippians 4:13). We don't have Peace because we don't obey THE SPIRIT within us, THE PRESENCE OF GOD. So, instead of letting someone RUIN OUR DAY; let the LOVE OF JESUS, MAKE THEIR DAY.
John The Baptist had many followers, multitudes came to hear him speak, and most of them wanted to repent and be baptized by him. Even his followers wanted to be loyal to him instead of JESUS. But at the height of his success, he never fell to the admiration of the world; he never wavered in his Love and Passion for JESUS. He "stood up for JESUS and made no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts" (Romans 13:14). Do we STAND UP FOR JESUS in the "good times"? Does our Love and Passion for JESUS waiver when we hear "how good we are" and there are no tragedies or persecutions attacking us? Don't we know that after we experience GREAT SPIRITUAL AND WORLDLY victories we are more vulnerable to sin? When we STAND FOR JESUS we have HIS POWER and there are NO TEMPTATIONS. IF WE STAND FOR NOTHING, WE FALL TO EVERYTHING.
Do we seek Comfort, Security, Approval or a sense of Righteousness by asking others questions about what we should do? Do we ask rhetorical questions when our heart is "screaming" the answer? Psalm 51:6, "GOD desires honesty from the heart so HE can teach wisdom to our inner most being". Are our Prayers a time when neither one is listening? Speak and listen to the Truth when the SPIRIT calls you; for what use is there in Praying, IF WE ONLY HEAR WHAT WE WANT TO HEAR?
