Opening doors for others just to see them smile. Stepping aside and "tipping" their hat as if to tell others, "it ain't so bad". Saying yes Sir or yes Mam, out of respect. Their actions betray the life they have lived, their sins forgiven by their MOST MERCIFUL GOD, because no one else can or will. "The talk from their mouths builds up others, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those that hear..." (Ephesians 4:29). "Kind, tenderhearted, forgiving as GOD IN CHRIST forgave them..." (Ephesians 4:32). "They do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for some have entertained Angels unaware.." (Hebrews 13:2). At these Special Times, "The SPIRIT OF THE LORD is upon them..." (Luke 4:38). Having once lived so far from GOD, they make no excuses for themselves, FOR THEY ARE FORGIVEN BY GRACE. The next time someone gives you a hug when you need it, tips their hat, or has a kind word that encourages you and lifts you up; you might want to thank GOD, there a STILL A FEW GOOD OLE COUNTRY BOYS AND GIRLS AROUND.
