DAY 5: IT NEVER TASTED SO GOOD!

1 Corinthians 11:24-25, "...Do this in remembrance of ME..."  This morning as I was having bread and water, I began to offer it up to our LORD.  Then I thought of this scripture and I began to have Communion (The HOLY SACRAMENT) with HIM. Remembering CHRIST in what HE has done in HIS life, HIS death and HIS resurrection. To really participate with CHRIST, HIS life becomes our lives.  Then I began to receive the understanding that partaking of the Holy Communion is not a "ritual" but a time to remember and draw close to JESUS.  Here we meditate upon the power of the CROSS. Communion is a time of being absorbed by JESUS; receiving and giving love and accepting HIS Divine life in our bodies as we eat and drink.  It renews our consciousness of our free gift purchased by the blood of JESUS.  What a way to start the day!  Yes, we can "take" and "receive" communion in every bite and drink of every meal of every day!  IT NEVER TASTED SO GOOD!  As I am taking communion this morning I also committed that JESUS will also being my last thought before I go to sleep.  When I go to sleep praising and thinking of HIM, I wake up refreshed and rested.  WHAT IS OUR PRAYER TO SHARE?  LORD, thank YOU for YOUR presence with us today.  Nothing matters except being with YOU now, no thoughts of tomorrow.  Just YOU and me!  A GOOD THOUGHT FOR TODAY?  I am going to start the day with JESUS, keep HIM with me and have HIM as my last thought before I go to sleep.  I WILL MEDITATE ON?  Experiencing HIS presence in everything!  Each meal, snack is no longer a habit; it is Communion.  I am invincible by HIS WORD, Isaiah 54:17, "...no weapon formed against you shall prosper..."  Today I am different than yesterday...I am changing.
