ARE YOU CHOSEN?

For years I have heard that the Jews are GOD'S chosen people.  But why, were and are they more Holy than the rest of us?  What are they chosen to do? As we read, we find the Jews were as bad and ornery, if not worse, than all the other nations.  With them GOD could show the world the fullness of HIS Love and Forgiveness; if HE could love the Jew HIS love must be beyond anything we could understand. They were chosen to spread the Gospel of HIS love and to tell the world about HIM.  1 Corinthians 9:19-23, "For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them..." Here Paul explains, GOD had created a newly defined and anointed people where there was no distinction between Jew and Gentile.  Ethnicity no longer defined HIS existence.  The Jewish MESSIAH HIMSELF nullified the distinctively Jewish parts of the Mosaic law.    The "Chosen" people now are those who believe in JESUS CHRIST as their LORD and SAVIOR.  These believers are designated to share the Gospel with the world.  The KING became a servant to HIS servants, to show HIS sovereignty.  YOU ARE CHOSEN!
