I JUST COULDN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO WAKE UP!

I spent a lot of time today looking at a tree outside my window.  Every fall it dies (or hibernates) and every year it bursts forth with life; even more beautiful than the year before.  Then I realized, it's not what I see on the outside; it's what is happening on the inside.  The sap is replenishing itself to flow with more passion and power making the limbs surge to the heavens in the spring.  Maybe this time doesn't have a name (Lent, Reconciliation), it is just a time where something is happening inside each of us.  We die to our old selves and rise to a new life with JESUS!  A time that is greater than yesterday and not as great as tomorrow. This change is a time of special Grace for us and it doesn't have to end with EASTER, we have only just begun.  Who knows, maybe we will pray a little more, fast even more frequently, and truly love one another.  Ephesians 4:22, "to put off your old self...and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of GOD..."  Reach beyond ourselves, YES, Reach, Reach, Reach!  DO YOU SEE WHY I JUST COULDN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO WAKE UP?
