HAND ME DOWNS.

My sister gave me our mother's Bible. As I was reading through it I saw my mother's conversations with GOD. There were many revealing notes in the margins and one where she wrote, "Randy came to visit and he prayed before we ate". You just never know what becomes Treasures to others. "Hand me downs" are not always unwanted things, most of the time they are "Treasures" that someone wants to share and they bring you closer to GOD. Matthew 10:8, "...Freely you have received, freely give." GOD gives us an inheritance, a beautiful "Hand Me Down". The Bible was where our mother wrote her most Treasured thoughts; in the Bible where GOD records HIS most Treasured thoughts for us. The last note was, "When I am no longer living, or 'out of my mind' please give this Bible to Randy, Love, Mother". YES, HAND ME DOWNS ARE TREASURES, SOME THINGS ARE TOO VALUABLE NOT TO PASS ON TO ANOTHER, MOST OF ALL, GOD'S WORD!   Abundant Blessings...
