DAY 12: I WAS WRONG, I DO LIKE STORMS!

Luke 7:4-7, "Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much..."  I believe GOD is always present with me but when things are pretty "smooth" and without strife I tend to say "thanks" and move on.  My pride, ego and selfishness keeps me from that personal relationship of depending on HIM.  I guess everyone wants to be the Captain of the Ship in smooth weather.  But when the storms come, I spend every second, of every minute of everyday talking, listening, praising and giving my cares to JESUS.  Right where I should be, with HIM!  The woman loved JESUS much because she was forgiven much. In that case, I should be full of love.  The Storms rage and I enjoy them because I seek GOD even more, my relationship is uninterrupted with my Pride, Selfishness and Desire for Worldly pleasures. I just want HIM! I have realized GOD is everywhere. My  HELL is when I my eternal search for  HIM is not genuine.  To want to love HIM with all of my heart and that would be to love HIM much!  PRAYER - YES LORD, I love the storms, because I seek YOU more.  It's just YOU and me LORD!  THOUGHT - I have been forgiven MUCH!  MEDITATION - I am forgiven of the sins I know and those I don't know; Knowing I am forgiven much teaches me to love JESUS more.  REFLECTION - So I am to forgive as JESUS forgives; love as JESUS loves; pray as JESUS prays; deal with suffering as JESUS dealt with suffering; and accept my FATHER'S will as JESUS accepted the FATHER'S will.  I am learning to love MUCH, because I am forgiven MUCH!
