Without ENCOURAGEMENT we can become discouraged and struggle in everything we try to do (1 King's 19:3-10). We are not talking about the "Monumental" "Earth Shaking" things we think we should do; we're talking about the inconsequential, routine duties we face DAY-TO-DAY! ENCOURAGEMENT keeps our hearts from becoming hardened (Hebrews 3:13). ENCOURAGEMENT gives hope (Romans 15:4); it reinforces patience and kindness (1 Corinthians 13:4-7); and it makes it easier to sacrifice our own desires for the ENCOURAGEMENT of others.
