Many institutions deceive us into thinking we are a "Player" when in reality, we are only a"Score-Keeper". We are too lazy, insecure (we are not confident enough to be conceited) and just plain "spoiled" to really contribute as a part of ONE Body. We comfort ourselves by pretending to be something we are not. The Apostle Paul recognized the detriment of being a "Score-Keeper" and the power of being a "Player". The term "Player" by nature implies "A Part of a Team". When you are a "Player" your focus is a 100% on what you are called to do. You give every moment everything you've got. Everyone naturally looks out for their own interests and to advance their own agenda, but the key is to have the same level of concern and apply it also to the interests of others. Such love is rare and so are "Real Players". Philippians 2:1-4, "...complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love...but in humility count others more significant than yourselves..." IF YOU ARE A "PLAYER" THE SCORE WILL TAKE CARE OF ITSELF!
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD!
