It appears to be a contradiction, but in TRUTH, they are ONE AND THE SAME. When Sorrow is so deep, and our sins smother our Souls in hopelessness, we are taken to a place where TRUTH meets SIN. If we choose TRUTH, then our REPENTANCE takes us to the place of FORGIVENESS! When we know we are FORGIVEN, WE HAVE TEARS OF JOY. Jeremiah 31:9, "Tears of JOY will stream down their faces, and I will lead them home with great care." Where TRUTH, LOVE, SIN, SORROW, REPENTANCE AND FORGIVENESS MEET, WE KNOW TEARS OF JOY!

Beyond the "Whys", far Greater than depending upon "Interpretations", is Absolute Knowing! The confirmation of Faith! Clarity and understanding is given beyond awareness of the surrounding Creation. It is from "within" where Spiritual Matters are revealed in Spiritual Means. Yes, even miracles, Revelation through GOD'S Presence, with Humble Adoration. Romans 11:33-35, "..the depth of the wisdom and knowledge of GOD! Unsearchable are HIS ways!...Who knows the mind of the LORD..." We can only know the Heart of GOD, through Revelation! It is the time from within we can only say, "HOW GREAT THOU ART"!
Everyone yearns for "Eternity", "Everlasting Life" and even "Heaven". Non-Christian believers profess the impossible goal of "perfection" and "self-salvation" through Karma. Reincarnation believes that the human soul never perishes through a succession of lives. The transformation from life to life in never-ending cycles. WOW! And these same people wonder how we can BELIEVE IN GOD, saying there is "no proof" and it is just a "Hopeful" alternative to dying. Matthew 25:46; "...these go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." Hebrews 9:27, "And just as it is appointed for man to die one, and after that comes Judgement." There is no endless cycle where our "self-perfection" creates the ultimate reality of "Merging with GOD". Maybe it's because; THERE'S NO "RE" IN "INCARNATION".
The UNSEEN is now being discovered. It is as though scientific and mathematical concepts are attempting to offer a "primitive" explanation of "DIMENSIONS" that excludes GOD. In their attempt to ascend to higher levels of consciousness, they have identified different DIMENSIONS of awareness."...Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the assurance of things not seen", (Hebrews 11:1). That is it! We don't recognize SPIRITUAL realities because we try to make Heaven into "earthly images". All DIMENSIONS exist as one SPIRITUAL REALM that can only be manifested by the SPIRIT not THE MIND. The UNSEEN is not a matter of DIMENSIONS, but rather ONE REALM! "...the SPIRIT HIMSELF intercedes for us with groanings too deep (beyond the mind) for words", (Romans 8:26). THE UNSEEN IS NOW BEING DISCOVERED, OR IS IT?
We have TWO BIRTHDAYS! The first when we were CREATED by GOD to live on this earth. The SECOND, when we were BEGOTTEN to join GOD'S FAMILY by being BORN AGAIN! BORN AGAIN, where GOD adopts us into HIS FAMILY and WE receive a most exalted position with HIM, everlasting LIFE. At this time, we are the FIRST FRUITS. The FIRST FRUITS belong to GOD. "Of HIS own WILL HE begat us with the word of TRUTH, that we should be a kind of FIRST FRUITS of HIS creatures", (James1:18). Two Birthdays, both a humbling CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION. AMEN. Happy Birthdays!
There comes a time when our Souls are "overwhelmed" with sorrow. A "Special Sorrow" that "grinds us to powder" where there is nothing we can do that make us "feel" better. It's beyond mere "regret", beyond Pain, Tears, Fears and Feelings. If we ever experience being "nailed to the Cross", THIS IS IT! A time when our Soul is disgraced and we "feel" we have forfeited GOD'S "SPECIAL FAVOR". A time when we start to view the "evilness of sin" as GOD sees it. It is no longer the pain of disgrace or shame for the World. It is the "true mourning" for our actions against our HOLY AND LOVING GOD. The exact nature of this "sorrow" is our longing to return to GOD and this can only be done through "REPENTANCE". It is a time where we seek GOD'S Mercy and that is all that matters. It is GODLY SORROW and no longer WORLDLY SORROW. "For GODLY grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret..." (2 Corinthians 7:10). And Psalm 2:4, "against THEE, THEE only have I sinned..." A time when we seek GOD with GODLY SORROW, BEYOND PAIN, TEARS, FEARS AND FEELINGS. AMEN!
Do we realize what we are praying? And if we understand what we are praying, do we mean it? In the LORD'S Prayer and we say, "...YOUR Kingdom come, YOUR Will be done..." (Matthew 6:10), do we know what we just said? We gave GOD permission to take over our complete lives? We just said, do what ever it takes, We don't care how painful it is, we want GOD to fully reign in our lives. We give HIM permission to transform our hearts, minds and whole being, to be like HIM! We ask HIM remove the complacency from our SPIRIT! When we pray, "..YOUR Kingdom come, YOUR will be done...", we just said, DO WHATEVER IT TAKES LORD; NO LIMITS, NO COMPLAINING; HERE'S A BLANK CHECK TO MY LIFE!
This is our prayer, for ourselves, and each other. Why is it so important to us to be remembered? Do we somehow think being remembered gives us everlasting life? Do we try give ourselves purpose, by who and how long we are remembered? We try to make some contribution to the world, only to find it has been discovered or written many times before. There will be "...nothing new under the sun... and no remembrance of former things..." (Ecclesiastes 1:11) as long as we want to be held in HIGH ESTEEM and prefer to have the WORLD'S FOCUS BE ON US. We live in obscurity to the world, but we do not live in obscurity to GOD. The only thought that has remained through out all of the years, IS GOD! AND THAT IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!
All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full" (Ecclesiastes 1:7). Haven't we all have similar thoughts at one time or another? Perhaps it is because "nothing" goes into the sea, that does not come from it. The water evaporates from the sea, then returns as rain filling the springs and rivers that run back to the sea. Maybe we don't know the Love, Mercy and Compassion from others because "nothing goes into us, that does not come from us". AS THE SEA IS NEVER FULL, WE ARE NEVER SATISFIED, without the PRESENCE OF GOD WITHIN US.
