Ecclesiastes 3: 11, "...HE has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what GOD has done from the beginning to the end." Here GOD puts in our hearts a desire to understand all life and creation, but at the same time HE lets us realize that we are so limited that we don't have the ability to do so. Both are ordained (to confer HOLY order) by GOD. No matter how much we "think" we want to know all things we know that we are incapable. We really don't want to depend upon ourselves, we want to depend upon SOMEONE greater. It is only here that we have JOY, PEACE and true understanding that GOD IS GOD and HE takes care of us so much better than we can ourselves. It is this true wisdom that increases our faith and dependence on GOD and the BEAUTIFUL REVELATION THAT THIS IS WHAT WE REALLY WANT.

Have you let Satan confuse, discourage and take away your dreams? Have you really forgotten who you are and wander hopelessly in loneliness? You look at yourself as a sinner who may, or may not, be saved by Grace; but GOD sees you as a Saint who sins. HE sees you as HIS child and HIS dreams for you are beyond your imagination! 2 Corinthians 6:17, "I will be a FATHER to you..." GOD sees you as Forgiven, no guilt or debt. GOD treats everyday as your brithday because HE wants to "renew" you in JOY because JESUS paid for your sins. So if you see yourself as weak and hopeless; GOD sees you as strong with HIS power and HE wonders how you cannot have Hope because HE knows what HE has for you. GOD knows no one, (I REPEAT, NO ONE) will take you away from HIM. John 10:27-30, "...no one will snatch them out of MY hand..." Let today be all of our Birthdays as we are renewed and reborn in CHRIST. Celebrate because you know who you are (you are HIS) and you know your purpose (to please HIM). Do something SPECIAL today; something you really want to do but never thought you could! YOU ARE NOT A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT, YOU ARE HIS! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! Saturday I received a package in the mail. On the outside of the package was written, John 8: 30-32. The Postmaster saw the scripture and asked what it was about. I read him the scripture and he commented: "I wonder how many people saw that scripture as the package traveled all this way to you"? Then, a lady behind me was going to mail her CHRISTmas cards and decided to wait until she could write scripture on the outside of each of them. Mark 1:3, "...Prepare the way of the LORD..." Do we today, prepare the way of the LORD so others' hearts will accept JESUS? When you do all you can do, you may find it is more than enough. You plant, GOD nourishes! Are you writing scriptures that have a special meaning to you on the outside of your mail? "DUH"? "CLICK"? "DID THE LIGHT COME ON"? Psalm 139:24 Psalm 46:10 John 8:30-32

Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! No longer can we pray in schools or before sporting events; and now there are discussions of taking "one nation under GOD" out of our pledge of allegence. If this is discouraging to you, I invite you to the Veteran's Hospital in Detroit where right in the middle of the main lobby is a small Chapel with these words BOLDLY written above the doors; PSALM 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am GOD..." Sometimes the most powerful message does not come from the pulpits. Just to see these people's faith in the midst of an avalanche of problems refreshes the Soul. The "Fruit of the Spirit" is in their conduct and character of leaving matters to GOD without anxiety. The "resolve" of victory in their eyes (windows of the Soul) lets the world know "YOU ARE NOT TAKING THIS FROM US"!
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! Are we being given answers in Churches today to Justify our suffering and Defend GOD? Are we taught that we deserve what we get; that GOD has HIS reasons for making us suffer; and that the end justifies the means? Are we taught to justify the deaths and tragedies GOD inflicts on innocent victims as a test? Such justification teaches us to blame GOD or ourselves and creates guilt! If all of these "answers" are true then GOD is not operating according to HIS OWN WORD. 2 Timothy 2: 5-7, "An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules...the LORD will give you understanding in everything." It is impossible for HIM to accept doctrines which outrage HIS sense of justice, mercy and benevolence! HE is THE (not "A") GOD who is loving and merciful. So what is the answer we should be teaching? TRUST GOD, for HE works for the good of all (even those HE has taken at such a young age), and HE is true to HIS WORD. It is not WHY, it is WHO do you TRUST. DOES THIS OFFEND YOU?
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! When we have offended someone, GOD tells us to go to that person and ask forgiveness. Oh, it is so hard to do; we try to justify our actions but when all is said and done, GOD says, "go and ask forgiveness". Then why are we so surprised when they forgive us? To forgive is an act of obedience as is to ask for forgiveness. Without forgiveness from the heart we do not have the capacity to love ourselves or anyone else. We are not only to forgive but be able to accept forgivness to be healed and restored. Ephesians 2:4-5, "But GOD, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which HE loved us...made us alive together with CHRIST - by grace you have been saved." It is the GOD in each of us (not us) that forgives and accepts it. WHY ARE WE SO SURPRISED?
