One thing about scars is that we remember exactly how we got them and those who were involved. These memories may be happy or sorrowful, but one thing is for sure, "We Remember"! Do we sometimes in the midst of our "silence", wonder if our loved ones are thinking about us, or even have fond memories of us? Do we begin to think about our scars (physical but more likely, emotional). Do we even feel a little forgotten? In this "silence" we need something very meaningful and very permanent! How can we feel forgotten when JESUS tells us in Isaiah 48:16, "...I have engraved you on the palm of MY hands..." HE goes on to say, "I will not forget you..." Maybe this week we might wear a string on our finger (the old way we used to remind us to remember something) or a ribbon around our wrist, to remind us "We ARE ALWAYS REMEMBERED"!

"Be careful, don't come on so strong, you'll run them away". How can we Evangelize if we are dispassionate about GOD'S WORD? Evangelism is GOD'S WORD coming alive through a person on fire for the LORD, where the WORD of GOD has gripped their heart and the power of the HOLY SPIRIT blesses them and those in their presence. Are we to be "clever and sophisticated" so as "sneak" the Gospel to those that hear us? We are to proclaim the Gospel through our love for GOD, with all our heart, soul, mind and strength! JESUS said inLuke 10:16, "The one who hears you hears ME, the one who rejects you rejects ME..."The Truth is offensive to sin, remember before we came to CHRIST how uncomfortable we were with hearing the WORD? If the Truth is not offensive to sin, then Glory is not coming down, AMEN!
Today, can we just live with passion and fire for the LORD, with love that comes from the heart, soul, mind and with all of our strength; because this is not a time to BE PASSIVE AND NOT TO OFFEND? Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! |
