"...THERE WAS DARKNESS OVER ALL THE LAND..." (Matthew 27:25) Why "Darkness", could it be illustrative and descriptive of the "Darkness" of our hearts? It is a symbol for the human condition - the evil, the sin, the unbelief! Is Easter a "Before" and "After" change in who we are? Didn't our bodies go to the tomb with JESUS? Wasn't it our bodies who was resurrected with JESUS? The body of CHRIST before EASTER and the body of CHRIST after EASTER; our body before CHRIST and our body after CHRIST. The transforming of the body, the transforming of FAITH. Isn't there more to experience and teach about EASTER than a RABBIT WITH COLORED EGGS?
