As a boy I had these Friends, that apparently only my dog, "stick horse" and I, could see and hear. They were magnificent, beyond beautiful and they protected me. 2 Kings 6:16-17, "...Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them...O'LORD, please open his eyes that he may see." Elisha prayed that the LORD would open the eyes of faith, so he could see GOD'S protecting hand. The clearer sight we have of GOD'S sovereignty and love, the less we fear the troubles of earth. LORD we pray YOU open our eyes of faith to see "the mountain full of chariots of fire" and the protection we are under! Notice that Elisha did not try to convince his friend that everything would be ok; he PRAYED that his friend could have the same peace and confidence that he knew. Maybe in addition to telling others about CHRIST we can pray for them and each other too. Maybe even introduce them to your INVISIBLE FRIENDS. PEACE AND LOVE as you enJOY this day that GOD has made.
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD!
