DAY 9: WHAT YOU APPRECIATE APPRECIATES IN VALUE

1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of GOD in CHRIST JESUS for you."  We have all been through some tough storms lately.  Was I thankful for the storm?  Absolutely not!  But I was thankful that JESUS was with me, thankful I surrendered to the HOLY SPIRIT to guide me.  Yes, I truly appreciated the presence of our LORD and HE grew in value to me.  Besides, HE knows when I lie and thanking HIM for the storm would be a lie!  I found that I began to actually practice HIS presence with me, by thanking HIM for being with me.  All of a sudden I began to feel so special that I could count on HIM to intervene on my behalf. However, small it was, I experienced a grain of Faith and HE responded to that Faith.  PRAYER - LORD, teach me to acknowledge YOU in all situations.  HOLY SPIRIT fill me with YOUR presence, wisdom, strength and success.  THOUGHT -  I will acknowledge JESUS in every situation, because HE is always with me.  MEDITATION - I don't like storms but I am going to give thanks continually and give my cares to HIM.  I have found when I focus on JESUS, I have the same joy as during the calm.  REFLECTION - When I give thanks, I appreciate JESUS.  When I appreciate HIM HE grows in value to me. I am giving thanks for you my friend.
