During the course of the day we send texts, emails, communicate by phone and of course, in person. It has been stated that the most common word used in conversation is the word "I". How can others know "Our JESUS" when we talk about "My Ministry" or what "I've" done for the LORD? Do the words that are spoken truly Glorify GOD and do they Bless and encourage the listener? Does our tongue "speak Blessings" but produce "curses"? Matthew 12:36, "...For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Today try not using the words "I" or "Me" and discover HOW MUCH LESS WE SPEAK.

2 Timothy 2:15-16, "...present yourself to GOD as one approved...avoid irreverent babble..." Are our words like big bubbles; impressive for a moment, but full of air? Or are you a person who people wait to hear speak because your words are preceded by prayerful thought? Do our words and use of Scripture represent the very nature and perfections of GOD, where we present ourselves to GOD as one approved? Or do our words become irreverent babbling because we speak without prayerful thought?
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! In today's bureaucratic society, attorneys file briefs, courts have hearings and then the cycle starts all over again, without much getting done. BUT! In Muskogee, Oklahoma there is a judge who sentences some to work on a farm on weekends and what? GO TO CHURCH EVERY SUNDAY? Romans 13:1, "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities..." Does the A.C.L.U. challenge in Muskogee? NO, the defense attorneys and their clients are thankful not to go to prison, these sentences help the community be better, and those who are sentenced to "such harsh punishment", become "mentors" for the next group of Judge Norman's sentencing. GOD is Glorified by AN OKIE FROM MUSKOGEE.
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! Do you have a friend that lifts you up when your heart's wings forget how to fly? Ecclesiastes 4:10, "For if they fall one will lift up his fellow..." Have you ever thought that their whole purpose was so that you would know CHRIST and have Salvation? In knowing them you know JESUS; now I GOT FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES.
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! We have heard during difficult times, "GOD will not give you more than you can handle". 1 Corinthians 10:13, "HE will not let you be TEMPTED beyond your ability...but with temptation HE will also provide the way of escape..." We experience many situations that "are more than we can handle"; but our "temptation" to lose Faith becomes our strength, because GOD shows us HIS faithfulness to love and protect us. Our escape? It is HIM, the ONLY source of strength and HE is enough. During those times beyond our ability to bear, we are closer to GOD, trust HIM more and escape in HIS tender love and mercy. So if circumstances bring us closer to GOD and more willing to obey, do you really think GOD lets us experience "more than we can handle"? SURE HE DOES!
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! Have you ever set out on a mission to prove something in Scripture? Maybe it was, what does the Bible say about being taken "advantage of" by others? That's right, a "little Righteous Anger" that makes you feel better because you were wronged! People are taking you for "granted" and it's a sin, so you are going to find it in Scripture to justify the way you feel. Here are just some of the 182 Scriptures on the subject: "...Turn the other cheek...(Luke 6:29); Matthew 6:14, "...forgive others their trespasses..."; Luke 6:32-42, "...love your enemies, do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return..."; Acts 20:35, "...it is more Blessed to give than to receive..."; and Mark 11:25, "...and when you pray, Forgive...". Thank YOU, LORD JESUS for correcting my heart; as YOU know, IT'S NOT WHAT I STARTED OUT TO ACCOMPLISH!
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! We hear something, then repeat it with worldly eloquence, dazzling words and attractive rhetoric so as to "impress" others with our "worldly" wisdom. In fact, we become so enamored with ourselves, that we believe our "repetition of choices" are original thought. The only original thoughts come from the ORIGINATOR, DIVINE INSPIRATION of the TRUTH revealed by the HOLY SPIRIT! 1 Corinthians 2:13, "And we impart (to disclose or make known) this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the SPIRIT...Spiritual truths..." DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE LIES OF THE WORLD, EXPERIENCE AN ORIGINAL THOUGHT TODAY AND DISCOVER THE TRUTH, INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! Mark 12:41, "And HE sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people..." It is not the size of the "material" offering we bring; but the size of the "Spiritual" offering we bring. A "Spiritual" offering is not a sacrifice, because it brings us much JOY and fulfillment. A "Spiritual" offering is not of treasured "things" but the offering of "One's Self".
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! Veterans? "A person who has long experience, dedication or service to a particular job or commitment." Let us celebrate the "real heroes"! What about the mother who does laundry and is always there to encourage us without fail? What about the parent who keeps working at a "not so glamorous" job so you can still have your dreams? What about the friend, spouse or parent that has spent hours on their knees, praying that we know CHRIST? People we walk past everyday, who may have a tear that we don't understand; people who put us before themselves. They even rejoice in our accomplishments and not their own. Ephesians 6:6-7, "doing the Will of GOD from the heart, rendering service with a good will..." SOMEHOW I THINK, THESE ARE THE REAL HEROES!
Psalm 139: 23-24 Isaiah 43:1 GOD IS GOD! What if today was the last day you would be able to see our physical world? Distinct objects became a blur and the center of your focus became a bright light. What if by losing your physical sight your thoughts were stilled, you began to go beyond the physical matter to a place where you experience the inter-connectivity of all things? The waves on the sea, were a "mirror" of the wind tossing the clouds in the heavens. We begin to see the gradually developing "profound depths", and a beautiful "vibrancy" in everyone we meet. 2 Kings 6:17, "...So the LORD opened the eyes of the young man..." Even if we couldn't see another sunrise or a Red Bird, our Spiritual Eyes would take us to where they begin and we would see THINGS NEVER BEFORE SEEN.
