Where do we most want to be when we are afraid, depressed or anxious? Do we remember a time when we were held in a storm; or a time we were forgiven; or the eyes that said, "everything is o.k.'? No matter how we describe it; we experienced love. "Love endures forever" (Psalm 136:3). What about the time or times something "really special" happened, but it wasn't so special because we couldn't share it? Love does endure forever, it sustains us; GOD IS LOVE (1 John 4:8).

In our FOOLISHNESS we thought ourselves WISE; but a mustard seed of WISDOM revealed our FOOLISHNESS (Luke 12:16-21). It is not the wealth that we have that makes us worldly; it is what we THINK ABOUT THE WEALTH in our hearts. For who knows a person's thoughts, except his SPIRIT (1 Corinthians 2:11)? Do we have OCCASIONAL THOUGHTS about GOD; while our fixed inward thoughts are about the world? Do we really think we can ransom our souls to GOD, IF SO AT WHAT PRICE (Psalm 49:7).
Today let us perceive without words because words limit us to interpretations and definitions. Let us GAZE INTO THE HEAVENS and hear the voice that breaks the barriers of languages among nations. Let the believers declare the GLORY OF GOD; and let the unbelievers be without excuse. "There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard" (Psalm 19:3). Creation needs no "translation or explanation" to interpret the beauty of its art, poetry and essence. EVEN THE LEAST WISE CREATURE KNOWS THIS IS NOT THE EFFECT OF "BLIND CHANCE".
How can we cry out, "GOD HELP ME" when we don't TRUST HIM? Do we believe that what ever is happening to us is BEYOND GOD? Do we not TRUST that GOD uses everything for our good? Are we excited today because HIS compassion is new every morning, and GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS (Lamentations 3:23)? Today is the day that our JOYS and AFFLICTIONS will do MUCH GOOD; AND ALL THINGS WILL BE NEW IN OUR HEARTS. AMEN,
THE CROSS, what are our first thoughts? Is it pain, suffering and we have a CROSS to bear in our suffering? JESUS the perfecter of our FAITH, WHO for the JOY that was set before HIM, endured the CROSS (Hebrews 12:2). Is today our day to think of the CROSS and have great JOY, EXCITEMENT AND GRATEFULNESS? Do we see the JOY that is set before us?
Do we really believe that our forgiveness "earns" us forgiveness? "Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who trespass against us" (Matthew6:12) "As we forgive" confirms a Holy place (not an action); a Place where "Thy Kingdom come, THY Will be done...on earth as it is in Heaven". Are we "Blessed" because we Forgive; or IS FORGIVENESS OUR BLESSING? Do we really think we are Forgiven "BECAUSE" we Forgive; or "AS" we Forgive?
Have we ever known something to be TRUE beyond "rhyme and reason"? Even though deductive and inductive logic tried to convince us differently; WE JUST KNEW THE TRUTH. WHO do you say I AM (Mark 8:29)? Contrary to what others we saying, Peter knew JESUS was THE CHRIST. NO RHYME OR REASON, PETER JUST KNEW! GOD knows what we say and do, even if we are not aware ourselves; GOD knows our SPIRIT, when we do not. Maybe we have heard GOD'S VOICE, before we knew it was HIM.
Do we take the Truth of our Omnipresent LORD and use HIM as a DISTORTED PRESENCE FOR OUR OWN CONVENIENCE (Proverbs 15:3)? Are we so busy that we mumble a few words and think it is a "Breath (giving life) of Prayer"? Do we "CONVENIENTLY" choose which days we will go to Church so we don't interrupt our schedule? Are we in such a wilderness that we don't prepare a way for the LORD (Isaiah 40:3)? If GOD is OMNIPRESENT (everywhere at the same time) isn't HE also OMNISCIENT (all knowing, all perceiving at the same time)? IF ONE ATTRIBUTE OF GOD IS TRUE; THEN AREN'T ALL ATTRIBUTES OF GOD ARE TRUE?
Do we have CHARACTER because we have Moral qualities and do Moral acts: or do we do Moral acts give us CHARACTER? Would we build a building without a foundation, and yet, does the does the size of the building confirm or attest to the strength of the foundation? "Perseverance, CHARACTER, and CHARACTER, hope "(Romans 5:4). Maybe CHARACTER is OUR FAITH, OUR HOPE which is tested, confirmed and refined until the impurities are removed. MAYBE CHARACTER BEGINS AND ENDS THE CIRCLE BECOMING MORE PURE.
NOTHING IS EVERYTHING, no distractions, no temptations, no envy and no fear. And, EVERYTHING IS NOTHING, our great knowledge tries to fill the empty silence, wealth and possessions leave us empty and wanting, our SOULS cry out from emptiness because what the world gives - it has already taken from us. All steams run to the sea, but the sea is never full (Ecclesiastes 1:7).
