Some people have an "aura of presence" that draws you to them. Their liberation from FEAR, gives you STRENGTH; their freedom in the TRUTH encourages you to live in the TRUTH. When you are around these people you are conscious of a TRUE attachment to GOD. That GOD IS ALL, AND IN ALL, and there is nothing without GOD that can meet the wants of the SOUL. Psalm 16:3, "...in whom I delight." You DELIGHT in their presence because you are LIBERATED FROM FEAR and ENCOURAGED IN THE TRUTH; YOU ARE CONSCIENCE OF GOD! Are you one, IN WHOM OTHERS DELIGHT?

Are we saved and have Eternal Life by being "Good" and going to "Church" every Sunday? Does GOD look FIRST at our Denomination or "RELIGION" in giving us SALVATION? Anything less than a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with GOD is nothing more than rituals (Religion) and man's idea on how to achieve "Spirituality". Religion is man's attempt to "reach up" and become acceptable to GOD through man's own "goodness". James 1:26, "...if anyone deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless." When we live in the TRUTH, our RELATIONSHIP with GOD encourages others to live in the TRUTH in our presence. When we are liberated from our fears, others are liberated from their fears in GOD'S presence through us. IS SALVATION RELATIONSHIP OR RELIGION? I have had a VOID in my life since I can remember, about American Christianity, UNTIL TODAY. When JESUS walked this earth, the poor, sick and sinners ran to HIM as a SAFE PLACE and to HAVE WHAT JESUS HAS. I am grieved that only too often our Churches are not that place; I am grieved that others want to know CHRIST but do not see HIS likeness in those "called" by HIS NAME. I ask HIM to search my heart, show me myself and HIM through SPIRITUAL EYES. I ask HIM to make us attractive to those who want to know HIM, where we all share in a TASTE OF HIS HEART. I pray that we don't confuse "trying to be like CHRIST" with "letting CHRIST show HIMSELF" in our lives. Relying on our own efforts ends in SUPERFICIALITY AT BEST and HYPOCRISY AT WORST. Matthew 11:28, "Come to ME, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." If you can't stand the Christians you know or have heard about; I ask your forgiveness. And even if you don't like the Christians you know, I KNOW YOU WILL REALLY LIKE CHRIST! Just how many times can I keep being forgiven? How many times will I try to put "boundaries" on GOD'S Love? How many times does my "mind" try to convince my "HEART" of the "evil ones" lies? How many times have I not shared in GOD'S JOY of giving me MERCY AND SALVATION? Luke15:31, "...you are always with me, and all that is MINE is yours..." How many times have I celebrated HOLY COMMUNION with a spontaneous outpouring of adoration of GOD in my life? Maybe GOD'S purpose for me is to show others that Salvation is Undeserving; that ignorance does not warrant GOD'S mercy or excuse sin; and that there are no limits to GOD'S Mercy and Love; EVEN 7 TIMES 70 OR, 490 TIMES? Sometimes my prayers are nothing more than me trying to convince myself, that I am in the PRESENCE OF JESUS. Where I "again" I ask HIM to lift me higher from this world, so I won't continue to fail HIM. When I was completely exhausted and could talk no more, I heard: "Do you really think you are at war with 'people' or corruptness of your SOUL? Have you not heard, 'your war is against spiritual wickedness in high places' (Ephesians6:12)? And don't you know 'the REMNANT' is not those miraculously chosen few to go to Heaven? They those whose FAITH does not waiver in the midst of EVIL SPIRITS attacks; those FAITHFUL FEW who hold to MY WORD AND PROMISES. Those who, like right now, hear MY VOICE." Today, my prayer is to JUST LISTEN AND STOP TALKING! When we go before the Presence of GOD, we cannot "pick and choose" where we think we need forgiveness. I have lived in such "darkness" as a "Professed Christian" that when I was exposed to the "Light", what I thought I would see, was not there. But I did see things I'd been rationalizing (hiding from) most of my life. In the "darkness" I was blind to the GRACE I needed to see; trying to seek forgiveness under my own power and not the power of THE SPIRIT. The SAME SPIRIT that called JESUS into the wilderness where HE could hear and see TRUTH. Isaiah 57:15, "... to revive the SPIRIT of the lowly and to revive heart of the contrite". In HIS PRESENCE, everything is MORE THAN I ASKED FOR! People tell you how kind and GODLY you are, you do "good" things for people, and even GOD has used you to make HIMSELF known to others. I have to ask myself; have I examined myself? Have I exercised strict scrutiny over my heart, compassion and conduct with the HOLY SPIRIT? Have I compared myself with proper "severity" and "honesty" to GOD'S precepts? 1 Corinthians 11:31, "But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged." No matter what others say, if I cause someone to "stumble", if I break GOD'S heart, if I am not who GOD needs me to be for HIM; then I AM NOT WHO I THINK I AM! IT'S TIME FOR ME TO GO AND BE ALONE WITH HIM, NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES, TO EXAMINE MYSELF! PAINFUL AND HUMBLING, BUT THIS TOO CAN BE A JOYFUL TIME IN HIS LOVE! When we get into trouble or are persecuted beyond our ability to endure, we turn to GOD FOR HELP. We want to "run away", hide and not think about it, hoping GOD will give us Mercy. When we "run away" our relationship with GOD IS momentary; it is only to "get through" the situation. FEAR paralyzes and distorts the truth because we anticipate or expect pain or danger to befall us. The world tells us that FEAR is normal! It is satan's LIE! There is no "healthy fear"; Fear is unbelief, it is "rooted" in SELF; FEAR IS SIN! The Bible admonishes us NOT TO BE AFRAID! JESUS expressed compassion, sorrow and even anger, but there are no accounts of HIM expressing FEAR! HE trusted HIS FATHER in everything, HE knew, come what may, HIS FATHER will take care of it. Joshua 1:9, "...Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed..." The LORD'S instructions are an integral part of who HE is and what HE will do; we are to meditate on them constantly. When we RUN TO GOD we come to HIM in all matters, with NO FEAR, just OVERWHELMING LOVE. It is PERMANENT; IT IS PEACE! When we RUN AWAY from something we seek temporary RELIEF; and it NEVER LASTS. OUR HEARTS ARE FAILING FOR FEAR! Thank all of you for allowing me to share these days with you. These are my most precious times. They are so special that I never (absolutely never) want to stop; I just want to continue in prayer for each of you through out the day. Thank YOU GOD for these encouraging moments with my Brothers and Sisters. LORD Bless them and keep them; make YOUR face to shine upon them and be gracious to them; lift up YOUR countenance to them and give them peace. In JESUS NAME I pray, AMEN. When we are in Heaven we will spend our time PRAISING GOD. I used to wonder what we would do in our FREE TIME. That thought would even reoccur in my adult life, UNTIL; I CAME INTO THE PRESENCE OF GOD! It wasn't something I created; I couldn't just "call HIM up" when I wanted and then "put HIM back" when I wanted to do other things. HIS presence brings the kind of FREEDOM, PURPOSE AND JOY that can't be matched! HIS PRESENCE is THE place where light is cast upon our sinfulness, false gods become powerless over our lives, every thought HE knows and HE completes us with HIS FULLNESS. No matter how "good" or "bad" our experiences are in this world, we can't wait to SEE HIS FACE, we can't wait to CONTINUE TO PRAISE HIM, and we are COMPLETED IN HIM. We sing, read, dance, pray, listen and share the Gospel, because in HIS PRESENCE we have a fire in our Soul that can't be contained or controlled; you just say, "I WANT MORE OF YOU GOD, I WANT MORE OF YOU GOD"! Joshua 1:5, "...Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you..." In HIS PRESENCE we are covered by HIS GRACE and we DON'T WANT TO BE ANY OTHER PLACE, not even in our FREE TIME! Did this Devotional carry the special Message? Praying for you Boogles....ST I know you are busy, I just pray When we really want something we commit ourselves with all we have and all we might ever have to get it. Nothing is too great or too burdensome, because those "other things" no longer matter; they have no value for us anymore. Luke 14:33, "...any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple." If we think we are "giving up something" or "making a sacrifice" to have JESUS, we must not have the "SAME MIND" as JESUS. We still don't think like HIM, we still want other things in addition to THE FULLNESS OF JESUS; when all we want is JESUS, WHAT DO WE REALLY GIVE UP? |
